1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Shree Krishna & Navagraha Temple online booking and management system ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Shree Krishna & Navagraha Temple.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the temple management and online booking system
  • "User", "You", or "Your" refers to the person accessing the Service
  • "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to Shree Krishna & Navagraha Temple
  • "Devotee" refers to registered users of the Service
  • "Pooja" refers to Hindu religious rituals and offerings
  • "Booking" refers to online reservations for poojas and services

3. Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

If you are using the Service on behalf of a family or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. User Account

4.1 Registration

  • You must register an account to access certain features
  • You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information
  • You must verify your email address to activate your account
  • One person may maintain only one active account

4.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account

4.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.

5. Bookings and Payments

5.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Booking confirmation is sent via email/SMS
  • We reserve the right to cancel / modify bookings due to incomplete payments or any unforeseen circumstances
  • Payment must be completed before the performance date to perform your offerings
  • You must provide accurate personal and spiritual information (Gotra / Nakshatra) for proper ritual performance

5.2 Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹)
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice
  • The price at the time of booking confirmation is final
  • Additional charges may apply for special requests or modifications

5.3 Payment Methods

  • We accept: UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Cash (at counter)
  • Online payments are processed through secure payment gateways (Razorpay/PhonePe/PayU)
  • Payment must be completed to confirm your booking
  • We do not store your credit card information

5.4 Payment Confirmation

  • A digital receipt will be sent to your registered email/phone
  • Physical receipts are available at the temple counter
  • All payments are non-refundable unless cancelled within the stipulated time

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation by User

  • Users are not allowed to make any Cancellations. In case the user want to make Cancellations due to any unforeseen situations, may please contact the temple office

Note: Payments to the temple including Donations & Dakshina, are non-refundable.

6.2 Cancellation by Temple

In case of temple closure, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel bookings. In such situations, you will receive a full refund within 7-10 business days, less any service charges / processing fees.

6.3 Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method
  • Processing fees (if any) are non-refundable

7. Donations

  • All donations are voluntary and non-refundable
  • Currently, the Donations or payments to the temple are not tax-exempted
  • Donations will be used for temple maintenance, rituals, and charitable activities

8. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Engage in fraudulent payment activities
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten temple staff or other users
  • Use automated tools (bots) to make bookings
  • Reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service
  • Resell or commercialize temple services without authorization

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and design, is the property of Shree Krishna & Navagraha Temple or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

Videos in the Live Darshan section may not always be Live view and may contain recorded videos of Previous functions & events.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free service
  • We do not warrant that defects will be corrected
  • We are not responsible for technical issues, network failures, or payment gateway errors
  • Ritual performance is subject to confirmed payment, priest availability and temple schedule
  • Parasadams are not despatched/couriered by any means. Devotees are supposed to collect them physically from the temple office on respective Performance day, timely

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shree Krishna & Navagraha Temple shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or technical failures
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Third-party actions or content

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shree Krishna & Navagraha Temple, its trustees, staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Fraudulent or illegal activities

13. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses third-party payment gateways (Razorpay, PhonePe, PayU) and SMS/email providers. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service failures or data breaches.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, pandemics
  • Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
  • Power failures, internet outages, or technical failures
  • Acts of God or other unforeseeable circumstances

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Faridabad, Haryana.

Dispute Resolution Process:

  1. Contact us first to resolve the issue amicably
  2. If unresolved, attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
  3. Legal action only after exhausting the above steps

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting and the Latest Changed date will be mentioned on top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
